It won't be easy; the corrupt militia captain will stop at nothing to destroy the evidence, and a mysterious tracker is on Leah's trail, hunting her deeper into the wilderness with each footstep. Only Cain Forester, a young hunter obsessed with his own vengeful mission, can guide her to safety.
 

But the kingdom of Tora Danya is bigger than Leah realizes, and far more ancient. As she and Cain find themselves swept into a storm of dark schemes and religious fanaticism, they learn that time hides unexpected mysteries, and that truth is not always kind...


Changing Tides is the first chapter of Tide And Tide, the epic tale of a land whose future is haunted by a forgotten past.

Tora Danya is a land steeped mythology, folklore, and mysticism. Like all kingdoms, it's history is both rich and shrouded in mystery. This is the story of those who are part of that mystery... and those who don't yet realize they are. Time and Tide is a mixture of political intrigue, internal character study, and epic tale-telling. It explores themes of nature, psychology, and religion, and  even dares a bit of existential pondering.

LEAH'S JOURNEY HAS LED from one mystery to another, but she and the Hunters Guild are prepared to continue their investigation into her father's affairs, even if they must enlist the aid of Tora Danya's most influential leaders. Meanwhile, Cain draws ever closer to identifying the assassin who murdered his family.

 

However, dangerous schemes threaten to derail their progress. Following the destruction of another Niranite clan, Guardian spokesman Caleb Storm will stop at nothing to ensure the survival of his people. But could Storm himself be a puppet of greater powers? 

 

As the icy winter descends, a savage vengeance devastates the hills of Arinnley Province. Some will die. Others will be forever changed, and players on both sides will be forced to question what they truly believe...

THE NIRANITE REVOLT is over, but chaos continues to spread. Vigilantes gather in the wilderness, plotting to do away with the surviving Guardians, while the citizens express a growing dissatisfaction with King Joseph's reign. As the Monarchy struggles to retain control, they discover a new threat gathering in the ancient places of the land. 

Such confusion offers the perfect chance for Cain Forester to seek his own revenge. But will his plans put him at odds with his old friends? The hunters are already stretched thin, and time is running out. As the true enemies reveal themselves, those who defend the realm begin to realize that it may already be too late to stop them. 

At the center of it all, Leah Godfrey's search for answers finally bears fruit, but the truth turns her world upside-down.  Before she can adjust to her ever-changing reality, she must face a crucible of trials that will remake her into the hero Tora Danya needs her to be. 

Gathering Shadows and is the third part of the Time and Tide series.
